Grow A Home
Biogenic & Resilient Futures, an immersive XR & AI docuseries on how we grow the homes that survive what's coming.
From the char layer of mass timber to hempcrete walls that shrug off wildfire, from 950-year-old Norwegian stave homes to Oakland's rising waterfront, Grow A Home documents a new era of community design where ancient wisdom meets spatial computing.
NeoAndean Reference Boards
Architectural infographics guiding the docuseries, Freddy Mamani–influenced NeoAndean forms, hempcrete cores, green roofs and greenhouse envelopes.

NeoAndean Vision House
Freddy Mamani–inspired luxury home nested inside a greenhouse envelope.

NeoAndean Architectural Handbook
Bioclimatic + cultural integration reference for the docuseries.

NeoAndean Modern Retreat
Stone, timber and hempcrete retreat harmonizing with mountain terrain.

NeoAndean Modern House in a Greenhouse
Regenerative living inside a climate-responsive shell.

NeoAndean Modern House
Contemporary Andean design in harmony with nature and culture.

Home on the Front Line
Our story began with the burning of Paradise, CA. Over the past three years we've worked on rebuilding housing in North Carolina, Hawaii and California, asking what materials, methods and mechanics can help communities recover faster and withstand future crises.
Grow A Home shifts the narrative from inevitable destruction to generative resilience , moving from extraction to cultivation with materials that store carbon while standing up to fire, flood and time.

Pilot Proof of Concept
Phoenix Reborn
Phoenix Reborn is the pilot reality-capture story for Grow A Home, an immersive educational experience about wildfire resiliency, post-fire recovery and the choices communities make to rebuild stronger. Shot and splatted in Los Angeles, it demonstrates how reality capture, video and spatial storytelling can turn a local disaster narrative into a replicable teaching tool for climate resilience.
The experience combines gaussian splat site scans, documentary footage and defensible-space guidance into a single Arrival.space destination, a template we are extending to North Carolina, Hawaii and other fire- and flood-prone regions.
Launch Phoenix RebornDocuseries Chapters
Every chapter is produced for fulldome immersive experiences, including educational field trips, planetariums, science centers and museum installations, alongside web and XR releases.
Western North Carolina
Franny's Farm leads the way, rebuilding new homes after Hurricane Helene's devastation, showcasing community resilience and innovative building practices.
Norway Insights
Long-life timber homes 700–950 years old outside Oslo reveal northern building wisdom, sustainable methods proven to endure a wide range of climate threats.
Future Innovations
Cities and reservations for clues to best building practices. Fireproof, pest-resistant biogenic materials, bamboo, mycelium, hempcrete, earthen builds, plus indigenous disaster-ready design.
The Town: Jack London Square
A live reality-capture game and gaussian splat of Oakland's waterfront where past, present and future collide with climate change and rising seas.
Los Angeles
Rebuilding after the LA firestorms: fire-hardened biogenic construction, rapid rehousing and community-led recovery captured across the basin, from Altadena to the Palisades.
Topanga Canyon
Canyon living at the wildland interface, where off-grid water, defensible landscaping and earthen and hemp-based builds show how a creative community adapts in place.
950 Years of Building Wisdom
Test shots from the Norwegian Folk Museum in Oslo, some of the oldest known homes still standing. Natural resin on timber has endured centuries of storms, cold and moisture. We study these buildings alongside modern hemp-lime workshops and Lower Sioux hempcrete leadership to bridge ancient stewardship with tomorrow's building codes.

Biogenic Materials Science
Inside the metabolism of the home, how "grown" materials become a passive defense against a volatile climate.
Hempcrete
Naturally fireproof, mold- and pest-resistant, breathes while standing up to fire, flood and infestation, sequestering carbon for generations.
Mass Timber & Char Layer
Heat-mapped visualization of raw timber transitioning to a protective carbon shield in wildfire zones.
Mycelium Networks
Interactive point-cloud visualizations that grow with audience proximity, living insulation and structure.
Bamboo & Bioceramics
Flexible earthquake-resilient joints and ancient composites bridging indigenous stewardship with future tech.

From Feeling to Agency
Step into a 360° dome film inside fireproof, biogenic homes. Immersive storytelling that moves audiences from climate anxiety to agency through real builders and real choices, designed for science centers, fulldome theaters, XR headsets and open web distribution.
Formats: Fulldome · WebXR · Giant-screen · Apple Vision Pro · Meta Horizon
The Town · Jack London Square
A live reality-capture game to prototype the cities we want to create together. Oakland's historic waterfront rendered as a playable gaussian splat where past, present and a sea-rise future collide, a template that ports to any climate-prone region.
